Built to Last.
Proper care extends the life of every OVAL garment. These instructions apply to all cotton fleece tops, polos, and knitwear.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C. Cold water preserves the weight and integrity of the cotton fleece. Avoid anything above 40°C.
Always turn garments inside out before washing. This protects the outer face fabric, embroideries, and any brass hardware from abrasion.
Use a specialist wool or delicate detergent. Biological detergents and fabric conditioners will degrade the fleece structure over time.
Reshape while damp and lay flat on a clean towel. Hanging heavy cotton while wet causes the fabric to stretch and lose its structure.
The heat and friction of a tumble dryer will shrink, felt, and permanently damage the 380gsm cotton fleece. Air dry only.
Use a garment steamer to remove creases. If ironing, use a pressing cloth on the reverse at a low cotton setting. Never iron directly over embroideries.
The saddle leather hem patch should not be submerged. Spot-clean with a dry cloth. The brass zipper pull can be polished with a dry jeweller’s cloth if needed.
Machine washable at 30°C. The collar will retain its structure better if buttoned before washing. Press flat under a damp cloth.
The woven collar requires gentle treatment. We recommend hand-washing in cold water and reshaping flat to dry.
Remove studs and brush off mud after each use. Treat the leather upper with a conditioner monthly. Store with boot trees. Do not dry near direct heat.
A garment worth caring for.
The Heritage Quarter-Zip is rated to outlast 300 washes at 30°C when cared for properly. We stand behind the durability of every garment we produce.
